How to Ensure Your KYC Verification Is Successful

How To Ensure Your KYC verification Is Successful Once Invited.Hello Rubimily here is a short guide on how to submit a successful KYC.

How to Ensure Your KYC Verification Is Successful

Most of the KYCs sent by miners have one or more of these problems and in this post we will help to guide you on how to send a correct KYC verification request.

The common KYC errors include:

1. Uploading expired ID or Passport

2. Uploading unclear ID/passport

3. Differences between profile details and ID information

4. Supplying a selfie of you with only ID card held

5. Supplying a selfie of you with only a written paper (Rubi + Date of the day) held without ID

6. Supplying a selfie of you with ID and a written paper without signature.

7. Supplying a written paper with wrong date.

Now that you have clearly seen some of the errors delaying your KYC verification, let's quickly dive into HOW TO SOLVE THEM TO ENABLE QUICKER KYC VERIFICATION.

1. Upload only current (non-expired) IDs

2. You must upload under daylight or clear light. Ensure all the written details on ID and paper are clearly captured. Let another person assist you with taking the photo. Do not take the photo yourself to get good result.

3. Ensure that the ID you supply has same name and date of birth as your #Rubi profile

4. The selfie you are to submit must be a photo of you holding a clear copy of your ID and a paper that clearly has the following written on it:

 A) RUBI

B) The exact date of the day you are uploading the selfie (not a date before or after)

C) Your signature which should be same as the one in your ID. If your ID doesn't bear a signature, this is no problem, add a signature on the paper regardless.

5. If there's a very subtle mistake between your profile info and your submitted ID, it may be considered or overlooked. However, a clear error or obvious discrepancy will not be considered.

Therefore, if your KYC returns the information 'KYC verification failed' do the following 👇

1. Quickly click on the 'KYC verification failed' feedback

2. Click of the blue 'Details' button

3. Check what submission is labelled red (problematic)

4. Correct it by clicking on it and reuploading the correct copy.

5. Resubmit the correct KYC

6. Wait for a fresh resolution/outcome

If you have submitted your KYC and it has lasted for more than 1 week without a feedback, please be patient with the team, there's currently a lot of KYC to be attended to. That's the reason for the delay and also the reason why many validators would be recruited soon to join the verification system and ease the process.

So refer to our previous post on how to become a #Rubi Network Validator and get yourself prepared ahead of the coming update. Thank you for your continuous support to the Rubi team and Rubi ecosystem.

Together we will build the best ecosystem we all would be proud of.
